All finished with Susan and Aaron’s Wedding. Here’s a short slideshow of some of my favorite images from the big day!

Senior Portrait shoot!

I am not all finished editing this spectacular Wedding that I shot in Bellingham, Washington last week, but I couldn’t wait to post some images for your viewing pleasure. I had a blast with Susan and Aaron and am so thankful I got to share in their special day!

That’s it for now… I’ll post a slideshow soon!

I’m back from my trip!

I stayed in Bellingham (10 minutes from the Canadian border) and got to visit places like Whatcom Falls, Anacortes (one of the San Juan islands- I ate a place called The Rock Fish Cafe- where I had Canadian whitefish), Deception Pass (one minute your on Fidalgo island and then you cross a really cool arch bridge over to Whidbey Island- I hiked down to the beach there and it was breathtaking)… also… LaConner (a really cool little waterfront village) and last but not least I got to run around Seattle for a day! I went to the famous Public Market Center and watched guys throw fish around, went in some cool stores, and went up in the Space Needle (500 feet in the air with a spectacular view of the city). I ate lots of seafood and drank lots of Starbucks coffee.

More images to come… but these are from my day in Seattle…

I love traveling! Yes I do!
Speaking of which…
did you know I am available NATIONWIDE for Weddings?
Indeed. Contact me for info.

I thought I’d post a quick update before I head off to Seattle this week, where I will be shooting a Wedding and enjoying a nice little 5 day vacation. Lots of sites to see and pictures to take! I’ll post a few images when I return, so stay tuned.

So…

This post comes with a tad of sentiment. I recently did an Engagement session with my little brother Jonathan and his lovely fiance Alicia. My little brother is getting married on August 18th! What? Lol. Seems like just yesterday he was just a kid…

Ahhh…

It was a gloomy day in Charleston, West Virginia on Saturday afternoon, as I met with my July 7th couple, Valerie and Parker, at the State Capital. However, we didn’t let a little rain spoil our fun! I must say I really enjoyed meeting and hanging out with this pair, and we sure had a blast.

I can’t wait to shoot their Wedding because Valerie has awesome taste (and color coordination)…it should be beautiful!

More from the shoot in my previous post…

This project has really inspired me. I often get calls asking if I do glamour portraits. I’ve always stayed away from that sort of thing, because honestly, it’s not my cup of tea. However, what if I could do glamour My way?! I think I’ll call it “Urban Glamour.” Forget the cheesy outfits, big hair and caked on makeup… Let’s take it to the streets.

Hmmm…more to come on this subject!

Any thoughts?

If you haven’t already noticed from my portfolio, I have a bit of “fashion passion.” I love to photograph models and do glamour type portraits (not the cheesy kind, lol).

Last Friday I had the awesome opportunity to shoot 5 models for Sharp & Sassy Day Spa. The photos are for a website and billboard project that they are doing advertising hair extensions. We all had so much fun running around downtown Parkersburg at various locations. The billboard will be up on Murdock Ave. in Parkersburg within the next few weeks. How exciting! Also, be sure to check out www.stephward.com (some the images are also featured there).

Thanks so much to Katie, Angela, Monica, Nicole, and Ashanti for being such awesome models…
