Brian, Andrea, and little Benjamin Crow are such a sweet and adorable family. I did portraits of Benjamin earlier this year and he just won me over with his so serious personality! We did some fun portraits of the family together last week and it was a blast. We took Benjamin to a cornfield (where he and I played hide & seek). I love the fact that my job occasionally allows me to be a kid again!

A few of my favs (ok, more than a few)…

Logan Carte, a Senior at Ravenswood High, is both a baseball and soccer player. He’s also adorable and very easy going and we had 2 sessions because our outdoor pictures got rained out last Friday so we finished those up this week. Man it sure was cold on Monday, but we managed.

I had a fun session with Mr. Taylor Addis from Catholic High School in Parkersburg last week. He brought his snowboard and we did some shots at an abandoned house and inside of a cornfield (just to be different).

The Diddles from Racine have a new addition to the family! Yes, baby cooper is now 7 weeks old and I got to meet him for the first time last week. We did 3 photo sessions in one day- pics of the baby, pics of the family together , and Beau’s Senior pics. Cooper’s Grandma Gina wants me to do new portraits of him each and every month, yah!~

A few favorites…

Blog, Blog, Bloggie Blog Blog. Trying to catch up here.

So, I have a bunch of new Senior Portraits to blog about, and I will eventually, but here’s a few to start…

Karli Babylon From Ravenswood High School (super sweet, outgoing and stylish gal)…

Alyssa Scott from Valley High School (where I went to school for like a month freshman year- it’s in Fayette County, WV)…

Ah, the fabulous, totally unique Wedding day of Nathan & Christine Coleman! First of all, it was a beautiful day on September 20th in Marietta, Ohio where it all took place. Second, they had their reception on a boat, which was very different and super cool in my opinion. Oh, not to mention the Wedding Party had a picnic before the reception. Everything was just so nice- the couple is wonderful to start with (I met them earlier this year when we shot their engagements & just completely loved them instantly. Their families are both wonderful (Nathan’s from Canada, where the couple now reside and Christine originally from williamstown, WV), and the decorations and cakes and wonderful treats (made by Christine’s family) were just amazing!

I loved this Wedding, what else is there to say? God bless you Nathan and Christine and I pray the very best for your new life together! Oh! And thanks for emailing me the picture of the two of you with Billy Ray Cyrus at the airport, that was priceless!

Yah! I can finally post a few of these beautiful Bridal Portraits that I shot last month and absolutely love. This is Amber Legg, who married Mr. Justin Guall this weekend at the University of Charleston, so now she is Mrs. Amber Gaull. I’ll post some of their Wedding photos in a future post- it was stunning.. They are a wonderful couple and terrific people to know!

Isn’t she gorgeous!

…OH! And I just realized that I never blogged about their engagement portraits, so here’s a few of those as well (which were also shot at U.C. and downtown Charleston (early summer)…

So let me first just say that this was a special wedding for me to photograph. I first met Brad and Laura not long after I opened my studio here in Ravenswood last fall. I actually looked a rental apartment that Brad had here in town. Although I ended up living elsewhere, my connection with Brad and Laura continued and then they decided to book me for their wedding, yah! I became friends with Laura and she even assisted me on a few Weddings this summer, she’s a great help and loves photography! I also really like Brad- he’s super nice, a little silly sometimes, and I’ve enjoyed hearing many funny stories about his days at Ravenswood High School from some mutual friends. (I wonder if he’d get embarrassed if I mention he used to be in Show Choir?) Lol. Sorry, Brad, had to do it.

Anyhow, Brad and Laura’s Wedding took place on September 6th at the beautiful Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church on Market Street in downtown Parkersburg. A reception followed at the oh so popular (and well deserved) Grand Pointe Conference Center in Vienna. We had a little time after the ceremony to roam around town and even went to Fort Boreman Park for some intimate shots of the happy couple. It was a beautiful day and a beautiful celebration through and through.

So, Mr. and Mrs. Tennant, thank you for allowing me to share in your special day. See you around town!
