I finally got to do my Help Portrait Session this past week with a lovely and super fun little family from Ravenswood. (check out help-portrait.com)
Sarah, Dustin, and little Paisley were so easy to work with and Paisley kept us laughing the entire time. She got to be her little cowgirl self for a few shots and also let me play dress up with her. Cutie pie she is! I was glad to help these wonderful folks out. They had recently fallen on some hard times and have never before had professional portraits made of all of them together. Sarah jokingly said when she came into the shooting room “these are our engagement, wedding, and family portraits all in one!”

This little project really touched my heart. They are truly grateful and I am too because I had the chance to meet them!

I love it when I get a chance to shoot something different for a change, not that shooting Seniors all the time is boring, cause it’s what I love. I just really enjoy it when I can really put on my thinking cap and think outside the box. Shooting a model’s portfolio images is like that for me.

Last Thursday evening I had a blast with Lexi B. and I feel great about the images we created for her portfolio. She’s a beautiful young lady (only 15!) and I wish her the very best of luck as she persues her modeling career!

Pretty cool huh!
We are excited!

Had an awesome Senior session with Miss Chelsea S. from Ritchie County High on Monday morning. Chelsea plays basketball, runs track, and loves to read. My favorite shot is the one where she is holding her favorite book! I am also looking forward to possibly shooting some pics of her with her beloved Corvette this Spring! A Senior driving a Corvette? Huh? When I was a Senior I drove a Toyota Tercel! Lol. Lucky kids these days! Thanks for choosing me to shoot your pics Chelsea, and for being yourself and letting your natural beauty shine! :)

Emily is a beautiful young lady graduating from PHS this spring. It was a lot of fun to do her pics on Saturday, even if we were both freezing outside, it was worth it!

Some of my favorites…

The March issue of MOV Living hits stands in the Valley early next week, be sure to pick up your free copy and check out the feature article on our studio, a feature on a recent Wedding I shot, and more!

COULD THIS BABY BE ANY CUTER? Seriously! What a beautiful 6 month old. Blue eyes that could melt anyone’s heart for sure. I shot these on Friday and it was wonderful to see Charlie’s parents, Amber and Justin, whom I had seen since their Wedding in October 2008. It’s always so cool to have couples come back to me after they start a family. I hope I am lucky enough to photograph Charlie for years to come. His 1 year birthday pics are already in the works.
