I had a blast with Morgan and Seth on December 5th. Seth is a member of the St. Mary’s Volunteer Fire Dept. and we incorporated that into some of their shots. I first met Morgan back in 2007 when I photographed her older sister’s Wedding. I am really looking forward to Seth and Morgan’s Wedding in 2012. They are a super fun couple to work with!

My adorable nephew #2 Easton Layne is growing so fast! I got to visit him this week for the Holidays and did a little photo shoot with him. A few favorites…

This adorable little 3 month old was in the studio on Saturday.

A long overdue blog post… the beautiful Wedding of Corey and Jeffrey that place in Parkersburg on October 15th. The Ceremony was held at St. Paul’s and the reception at The Blennerhassett Hotel. One of my favorite things about the Ceremony was that every song the Pianist played was a Beatles song. You can read all about this couple in the upcoming 2012 issue of WV Weddings Magazine, coming out in February!

Came across this article “My Advice for Aspiring Photographers,” and love love loved it! Had to share!

“Never apologize for your own sense of beauty. Nobody can tell you what you should love. Do what you do brazenly and unapologetically. You cannot build your sense of aesthetics on a concensus.”

“Never compare your journey with someone else’s. It’s a marathon with no finish line. Someone else may start out faster than you, may seem to progress more quickly than you, but every runner has his own pace. Your journey is your journey, not a competition. You will never “arrive”. No one ever does.”

Lydia Snyder turned 6 months old! My she is growing so fast! So pretty in her Christmas tutu! :)

Aelissa Stavrakis turned 1 Year!
These were shot on December 10th and I must say I’m a little sad that it was the last of her Baby Collection sessions, but I have a feeling I will see her and the family again in the future. Such wonderful people and Aelissa just gets cuter all the time!

A few favorites from 2 of the 4 sessions I had last Saturday…
