I am usually lazy when it comes to loading up my gear and going out into the night to capture a spectacular event in the sky, however I made myself go last night. SuperMoon 2013 was a site to see, and I am glad I went! Supermoon is when the moon is closest to the Earth — during its full phase! I shot these from my local highest point in town, Quincy Park, atop a picnic table! Fun times!

I’ve been photographing a lot of dancers lately. Thought I would share some of my favorites!

There’s a lot more on our facebook here. We photographed Jessica’s Dance Company (Marietta, Ohio) for the 3rd year in a row!

If your dance team needs professional portraits done, give us a call. We also have had some parents book mini sessions with us to capture more creative dance images of their child.

I had the honor of photographing this simple yet very elegant Wedding on May 1st in Savannah. Alicia and Mike love Savannah & decided a destination Wedding there was perfect for them. The couple stayed at The Mansion on Forsyth Park, where we photographed many of their detail and formal shots. This hotel is amazing to say the least. Everywhere you turn there is art and beauty, from the lobby to the rooms themselves. I really enjoyed shooting there. The ceremony was held just across the street in Forsyth Park, amidst the beautiful trees and flowing Spanish moss. It was a very private & intimate affair, with only the couple, officiator, our photography team, and their Wedding coordinator. After the ceremony, we spent a few hours shooting more formals of the couple in the park and close to the epic River Street area of Savannah.

Alicia was one of the sweetest brides I’ve ever worked with, and Mike was a true gentleman as well. I loved our time together, and am so thankful for the opportunity to capture these special moments for them. Looking forward to a future portrait session with them and their families that is already in the works!
